Our support

Who we support

We support adults whose needs may include learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.

Learning Disabilities

Individual support focused on developing daily living skills, confidence, choice and greater independence.

Mental Health Needs

Structured, person-centred support that helps individuals maintain routines, pursue goals and participate in their community.

Complex Needs

Support planned around the individual, working collaboratively with the person and relevant professionals to understand their needs and aspirations.

Everyday independence

What support can look like

Support is tailored to the individual and may include assistance with everyday routines and developing skills for more independent living.

  • Building independent living skills
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home
  • Budgeting and everyday organisation
  • Accessing education, volunteering or employment opportunities
  • Developing social and community connections
  • Attending appointments and engaging with other services
  • Working towards personal goals
Our accommodation

A homely place to build independence

Our Liverpool supported living accommodation is designed to feel comfortable and homely, while helping people develop the confidence and everyday skills needed for greater independence.

Our Statement of Purpose describes a six-bed supported living service in Liverpool, with recently upgraded en-suite accommodation and access to local amenities and transport. Accommodation is separate from support provision, supporting choice and independence.

Our approach

Skills, confidence and progression

We use a person-centred, strengths-based approach. Support starts at the level needed for safety and stability, with a focus on teaching skills rather than doing things for the individual.

  • Cooking, cleaning and laundry skills
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Maintaining a tenancy and household responsibilities
  • Developing routines and structure
  • Accessing education, training, volunteering or employment
  • Emotional support and confidence building
  • Regular reviews focused on individual outcomes
